Biography of Mahatma Gandhi

 Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869, and died on January 30, 1948, also called Mahatma Gandhi in Sanskrit means “great soul".
He is a spiritual leader and politician from India. At the time of Gandhi's life, many of the countries which is a British colony. The population in those colonies craved the independence to be able to govern their own country.
Mahatma Gandhi was one of the most important involved in India's IndependenceMovement. He is an activist who does not use violence, carrying the independence movement through peaceful demonstration action.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869 in the State of Gujaratin India. Some family members working in the Government. While a teenager, Gandhi moved to the United Kingdom to study law.

He taught the people of India who live there how to apply Ahimsa to overcome various inequalities they experience. The method, also known as passive resistance or anti-in cooperation with those who do injustice. Gandhi's belief that by working together, the decline – persons will eventually realise his error and discontinuing the then attitude is not fair.

When he returned to India, he helped in the process of independence of India from the colonies of the United Kingdom. This then gave the inspiration for
the people in the other colonies in order to fight get its independence and break upBritish India to form the Commonwealth.

People from different faiths and different tribes living in India at that time convinced that India need to be broken down into several countries so that different groupscan have their own State.

A lot of people who want to be the religions of Hinduism and Islam have their owncountry. Gandhi was a Hindu but he preferred the thoughts of other religions including Islam and Christianity.

Profile and biography of Mahatma Gandhi believed that people of all religions have the same rights and live together peacefully within one nation. The time India became an independent nation and broke into two countries, India and Pakistan.

It is not approved by Gandhi. While the movement has continued to progress, Gandhi continued its search of the truth and designing an appropriate strategy for dealing with the enemy. He called it Satyagraha-the rule of righteousness.
Gandhi believes that by looking at the suffering of someone who uphold truth will influence and will touch the conscience of perpetrators of arbitrariness (enemy). Satyagraha is then performed extensively and effectively in the struggle for independence.

This struggle eventually reached a point where the United Kingdom was not able to survive against thousands of people mass against it, action-peace demanding independence. However, Gandhi was convinced to every effort and struggle that are done by them tutored by him in the exercise of the Salt Satyagraha, and because the teaching and training of Satyagraha struggle this is bringing results.
The principles of Gandhi, satyagraha, often translated as "the right path" or "path tothe truth", has inspired generations of activists and democracy activists-anti-racismsuch as Martin Luther King, Jr. and Nelson Mandela.

Gandhi often said that values his doctrine is very simple, based on traditional Hindu belief namely truth (satya), and non-violence (ahimsa). On January 30, 1948, Mahatma Gandhi is assassinated a Hindu man angry with Gandhi because he was too in favor of Muslims.
